Weddding Guest Outfits.

Hello Ladies,

While I'm still half way through my blog post on my summer travels, I thought I would do a post on wedding guest outfits. I know when going to a wedding especially this time of year, it can be difficult to pick the perfect look. Luckily, that's what I'm here to do. I know everyone has different styles and looks for weddings; from short dresses to long dresses, so I will mix both looks in the following. Autumn/Winter weddings are beautiful especially because the weather is so crisp and if we are lucky snowy. Which means we can get away with wearing long sleeve dresses too. Avoiding wearing white is also key. Its the brides day, so go for a different colour even if its cream. ( I know it can  be hard especially as white is my favourite colour and its extreamly classy).

Enough rambling on, here is some looks to help you out if you are attending a special occasion soon.

Oh and please don't hesitate to contact me if you want any help or have questions on the dresses in the following. Also, on each website listed below, they have their own "wedding guest" section for you to browse through more.

Love,

Top Tips While Decorating Your Bedroom

Hey everyone, Sorry I have been quiet on the blog this week, I was swamped down with important college work. As I have one done and dusted,  I decided to do a different kind of blog post this evening, as I'm a HUGE fan of interior I wanted to talk about simple tips while decorating your bedroom. This post is going to be straight to the point or in other words an easy read. If you follow me on Instagram or even snapchat you will have seen a quick snap of my bedroom/office. Its getting done up with just a few more adjustments left to be done. I love decorating, especially when you have an idea in your mind it can be quite exciting decorating. Personally, the more simple the bedroom the more elegant it will look. If I had my way everything would be in white, marble and gold. But I think we all can agree the brighter the room the better the lighting will be ( a positive side while getting ready).

So, here is my best tips while decorating your bedroom. And by these tips I don't mean you have to go painting, readjusting etc. I basically mean easy tips to make your room prettier on a low budget. I know items can be quite expensive, especially home decor. But TKMAX, IKEA and Penneys are your best options. The cost is inexpensive alongside the bedroom materials which are all to die for, suitable for all tastes and styles. Below is a small snap from my bedroom, it kinda gives you an idea of the type of interior I'm interested in. Pastel colours and classic black and white wall paintings.

Enough rambling, here is the my top five picks, enjoy the read!

1) Declutter all your unwanted items (I know it can be hard but to achieve a tidy room, it has to be done).
2) Pick a theme, colour scheme and style for your room. You don't want to have a random mixture of style, pick one and stick to it.
3) As mentioned above, Penneys have a great range of little bits for you room including candles, frames, artificial flowers and ornaments. This adds the homely feeling to a room and looks great on shelves.
4) A wall painting is a key. Either a classic picture of NYC or Paris looks amazing on a wall. These can be bought literally anywhere, +Next have a good variety. On the other side of my wall, I have a large picture canvas of Audrey Hepburn, its so classic and adds colour to my room.
5) Keep minimal space on your dressing unit. You don't want all your makeup on display it may often look messy, so keep only your valuable items on show. Also opting for colourful cushions on a plain bed cover looks great, it adds to the room and makes your bed look  more cosy than it already is.

I really hope this helped, if you have any queries make sure to contact me or if you want to see more of my room snap me and let me know. Have a super weekend and I'll be talking on my snapchat Sunday xxx HaylsKouture.

Because Penney's Is All About STYLE This Season.

Hey everyone. Happy Tuesday and its safe to say its finally a nice day (even though I'm stuck in the library here). If your following me on snapchat you would have seen what I bought yesterday at the RDS Irish Beauty Show. I wont talk too much about the show as I talked about it a lot today and yesterday I also shared a picture on my facebook with Cocoa Browns Marissa Carter. She is beyond beautiful and so down to earth. If you didn't get going to the show, there is always next year and I highly recommend going. Even if your not into makeup, the day itself is a girly day out - which we all need from time to time. I was lucky to spend it with one of my best friends Shannon, who is a makeup addict and artist. If you haven't seen her amazing work make sure you check her out - Beauty by Shannon Walsh (Facebook page).

Anyways,  Today I thought I would talk a bit about Penney's and their fashion staples that everyone is going crazy over lately. Each week I have to pick up something new because their spring collection is amazing. As I'm a huge fan of the gingham look, Penney's are offering us a huge range to choose from. So, I decided to pick three outfits that (mix and match), that would be perfect for daily wear during this pretty season.

I will attach the link below and I'm sure if you pop into Penneys you can buy them there. Enjoy the outfits and I will keep you posted with more tomorrow.

Have a nice evening,

Five Spring/Summer Jackets From River Island.

Good afternoon everyone. Unfortunately its another rainy day here in Galway, but on the up side I'm not in college until 2 today. So I can get this done alongside more blogging. However, I did get up early but only to find out our water was gone in our house, I'm sure you can imagine it - five girls wanting to get ready for college with not a drop of water. But anyways, luckily its all fixed now! I also was supposed to have this finished by last night, but the internet was down which results in rewriting it again today ( I know your probably thinking our house is falling apart, but I swear its just one of those weeks).

OK, enough winning. If your already friends with me on my HaylsKouture snapchat you will know its only about blogging. Last Friday night I showed you all some of my favourite jackets and now I'm going to shoe you all my five top picks for SS - jacket style, from River Island. Some of you are friends with me on my other snapchat account but I decided not to put up much fashion or blog related stuff onto it, I have many male friends on it and I understand many of my snapchat friends don't want to be plagued with blogging. Moreover, if your not already friends with my new account the details are on my Facebook page.

Straight to the point here are the 5 jackets and the link attached will bring you straight to the RI website to buy.

Step Into Spring With Harper.

Hey everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend and most importantly had a relaxing day for your week ahead. Its crazy to think its March already, time is really flying. But one thing is for certain and that is springtime. Although the weather isn't the way we would love to have it, its safe to say we can finally get planning our outfits for this season and welcome back our SS styles. If your already following my new Snapchat account, you would have seen what I got up to during the week. I had the pleasure of trying on the beyond fabulous dresses from Harper in Galway. Harper is located on Eglinton St in the city and once you walk in to the store nothing fails to disappoint. The staff, interior and dresses are all in one amazing. If your into elegant chic style, this shop is for you. From going to a wedding, debs to even a glamorous night out, every dress suits the occasion.

I uploaded two dresses onto my Facebook page and the response was outstanding. However this was just two out of many many more. I know we all tend to have different styles so by browsing the Harper Facebook page or Instagram you can see more of a variety.

I personally think attending a formal occasion is when one most look their best. We all love to dress to impress, we all want to feel and be sophisticated. By trying on these dresses this is exactly how I felt (even though I was going nowhere). Dressing fancy is key to everything. So, if your going anywhere special this season be sure to pop in and find a style suited for you. Here is the link to Harper's Facebook page  and beneath is my top ten picks from Harper for Spring/Summer. All suited for any formal occasion. Each colour also fits into this seasons trends.

I will have a new blog-post about more SS style from Harper up during the week. But for now enjoy the fashion and step into spring been inspired by Harper.

I hope you enjoy the read,

How To Dress For An Interview

I know its quite an unusual topic to be talking about, but its also very important. Going to an interview means first impressions and first impressions means dress to impress ladies. People often find it tough while choosing an outfit to wear to an interview, we either feel over dressed or under dressed, besides which one is worse?
Personally, I think the key outfit for an interview is to be dressed sophisticated and well presented. Either wearing black or cream is the two colours in which you should depend on most. Wearing black skinny jeans, heels, a high neck top and blazer is your safest option. If your opting for a more dressier outfit, wearing a midi body con dress with long sleeves, nude heels and blazer is another option. Always go for a simple look, toned colours and a small clutch. Bringing a big bag is not necessary, it looks clumsy and you don't even need it. Wear a minimum amount of makeup and don't over do it. For hair, I would go either sleeked back in a tidy bun or pony tail, or a loose curl. Make sure to paint your nails as the person interviewing you might look at your hands while talking.

Here is some looks from Zara to help you achieve the elegant look:

The Glamour And Glitz Of Hollywood - Oscars Style.

Hey everyone, I hope your Monday is going good. As you probably seen from the internet today, on snap-chat and Instagram the fab dresses from this years Oscars. Wouldn't we all love to have been there. I personally love Hollywood (even though I have not been there, yet.) I just love the glam of the movies and the fashion the Oscar brings along with it. As La La Land was part of the nominees, it really just topped it all. The movie is probably one of my favourite films, I went to see it in the cinema three times, I know how sad your probably all thinking. But when I really like something, I LOVE it. Anyways, enough about me and lets have a browse through the style from last night. As we all have different styles, the below three are my favourite, the colours and elegance!

Also if you haven't already added my new snapchat account its named- haylskouture8.

I will have a new blog posted tomorrow.
